Chain of Stories
"Chain of Stories" examines and explores one traditional old folktale from a different country in each edition. Folktales were primarily shared orally in the past, passed down from generation to generation, with each storyteller adding their own twist to the tale. This inspired me to play with associations and to write a new story by linking associations together, resulting in a new fictional narrative. The magazine's design also includes a visual rhyme that can help you unravel the conclusion.
This project was my graduation project at HKU. It was also selected to be presented at Dutch Design Week 2024, where I had the opportunity to showcase my work to a wider audience.
