Queer podcast
Glittergeschiedenis is a Dutch history podcast hosted by Jasmijn Kenselaar and Sophie Jongma. Every two weeks, they explore stories from Dutch LGBTQIA+ history, focusing on important events, remarkable people, and often overlooked historical figures. The podcast presents history in an accessible, personal, and engaging way, making it both educational and entertaining for a wide audience.
I had the opportunity to design the visual identity for the podcast. I chose bright, cheerful colours, such as pink and yellow, to create a playful and inviting look. These colours reflect the positive and inclusive atmosphere of the podcast while making it stand out and attract attention.
For the logo, I designed a star because it represents celebration, visibility, and pride. The sparkling details reinforce the word "Glitter" and give the logo an energetic and joyful appearance. I combined a bold, rounded typeface with soft colours to make the logo feel friendly, modern, and accessible, while still reflecting the importance of the stories being told.
